Psych Assessments

Psychological Assessments involve in-depth interviews, standardized questionnaires, analysis, and recommendations for the purpose of treatment planning and/or decision making. The following is a list of the types of assessments in which I have the most experience:

  • Personality and diagnostic assessment for treatment planning
  • Psychological assessment with a domestic violence component
  • Psychological assessment with a parenting component
  • Psychological assessment with addiction components

The cost of an assessment varies depending on the complexity of the assessment.  At the intake appointment, I will be gathering information to determine what kind of an assessment is required as well as the expertise and depth of involvement needed to make an appropriate assessment. After the intake, I will be able to give you an estimate of the time commitment and cost of the assessment.  Assessments are billed at an hourly rate, including the time it takes to assimilate all the interview data and the standardized questionnaires, as well as to write any necessary reports. Depending on your health insurance benefits, they may or may not cover psychological assessments.  If you are in need of a psychological assessment, please call to schedule an intake appointment for the assessment (425-275-2637).
