Fees and Insurance

 

  • 50 minute individual or couples session: $140
  • New client intake session: $210
  • Psychological assessment hourly rate: $180
  • Group session: $50 per individual

A sliding fee scale is available for clients with economic hardship and is based on household income.

Mental Health Insurance.

I am an in-network provider with the following insurance companies:

  • Premera
  • Aetna
  • First Choice Health Network
  • Mental Health Network

Many medical insurance plans also cover a percentage of my fees as an out-of-network provider. It is good to check with your medical insurance company before scheduling your first appointment with me, in order to understand your mental health benefits for in-network versus out-of-network providers.

Alternative financing.

I will work with clients with limited income to find resources to pay for my services. For example, if you are the victim of a crime, you may be eligible for crime victims’ compensation to cover mental health service. If you are a member of a church, note that many churches have a benevolence fund that, in special circumstances, may be used to support counseling services for those with limited financial means. I am also willing to discuss third party payment options.
